Changes in version 4.0.0
The new version includes some changes that are not compatible with previous versions. These changes are designed to increase user experience and simplify overall usage. In the near future, we plan to make further changes and implement some of the most requested features.
Global Settings and global behaviour
Removed
- Prohibit Overlapping Worklog - There will be no restriction and users can log work on the same time.
- Worklog duration beyond midnight - There will be no restriction.
- Non-estimated issues - Timetracker will not send emails about non-estimated issues anymore.
Added
- Maximum loggable hours per day per user - Admins can define the maximum loggable hours per day for Timetracker users or no limit at all.
User Settings and Timetracker
Removed
- Show day name - The day of the name will be shown based on the navigation option.
- Displays rounded Remaining time - Remaining time will always be displayed rounded.
- StartTime Change value and EndTime Change value - It will always be rounded for 5 minutes.
Added
- At the end of the “Add Worklog” line, a dropdown button has been added, where Remaining estimate and Period can be turned on / off. The selection made here also modifies the user settings.
- Navigation - You can choose to display a compact button group (Simple) or the days of the week (Multi) for quick navigation and logged work information.
