Analytics version
In the 3.7.0 version of Timetracker, we have changed our analytics tool in the add-on and shut down the servers of the previous tool.
We ask all users who use earlier versions of Timetracker to turn off the analytics in the admin settings to avoid any problems in the future.

New major version of Timetracker is now a Paid-via-Atlassian Add-on
Sharing values is part of our culture, so it was obvious that we would share Timetracker with JIRA users in the Atlassian Marketplace. Timetracker is now installed in more than 2000 systems. We would like to thank you - this superb community - for sending us so many feedback, opinions, development suggestions and critical remarks.
To keep serving your requests in a professional way, from version 3.5.0, the Timetracker for JIRA Add-on will be released as a Paid-via-Atlassian Add-on.
What does this mean for you?
It's important to know, that we will stop supporting the 6.x versions of JIRA, and focus on the latest 7.x versions in the future. The free versions (up to 2.8.4 and 3.4.4) will remain available on the Marketplace, and we are ready to develop them further on your specific request.
In the future, we aim to satisfy users’ needs even more efficiently. For this purpose, we will provide the same quality, comfort of use, strong reporting functions and high level support, extended with the newest functions requested by you!

Dashboard gadgets
You can add gadgets to your dashboards to measure and analyze your own or your team's progress.
Logged time roll-up to Epic and Parent Issues
On Issue view, you can find two buttons which provide additional analysis options.
- Include Sub-task: Click on this button, if you want to add the times of all of its children to the parent issue's time.
- Include Epic Link: Click on this button, if you want to add the times of all of its related issues to the epic issue's time.
Chart report upgrade
New Chart Report display logged work for a period and the selected users by projects, issues or users.
Viewable in pie chart and bar chart format.
Separate Details and Summary view for reporting
You can change between two sub-pages on the reporting page:
- Details: The detailed view will show all work logs as a list. Each row will be a work log.
- Summary: The summary view will show all work logs summarized by the selected parameter.
The same criteria will apply to the query in both cases. This means, that you don't need to run the report creation again for deatiled or summarized view.
Reporting summary for versions and components
In the new views, the data can be summarized by versions or components.
Period worklog option
With the period worklog option you can administer regular tasks. Worklog will be added for the working days that are included in the period, except for weekends and excluded dates.
Include custom fields in report export
You can select all available Default fields and Custom fields to export. By default, the same fields are selected as the columns displayed on the report.
