Adding a Feature Score field

JIRA applications let you add custom fields in addition to the built-in fields. You can add a Feature Score custom field the same way as any other custom field in JIRA:

1. Choose  > Issues. 
2. Select Fields > Custom Fields.
3. Select Add Custom Field. Select All to make sure you can see all available field types.
4. Locate and select the "Feature Score Field" field and click Next:
   
5. Enter your Feature Score's name and description.  The Field Name will appear as the custom field's title in both entering and retrieving information on issues, whereas the Field Description is displayed beneath the data entry field when entering new issues and editing existing issues, but not when browsing issues.
6. Select Create.
7. Associate the field Score to the appropriate screens. You must associate a field to a screen before it will be displayed.
   1.  The first time (after the neccessary configuration) the field will not appear on the Issue screen and the "Dont calculate" box will be checked by default.
8. Select Submit to finish adding your new Feature Score custom field.
