On this page you can configure the selected Feature Score field behaviour.


Score value

The Score will determine the value of your feature based on your business metrics. It will be calculated based on the following equation:

( (parameter * multiplier) + (parameter * multiplier) + ... + (parameter * multiplier) ) * score multiplier. 

You can easily configure your feature score custom field by adding any number of parameters and their weight as multipliers. The total score can be also weighted by one score multiplier. 


Score field settings

First, choose whether the higher or the lower score value is the better. 

  1. Locate the Score field settings section.
  2. Select the higher or the lower option. 

Depending on the higher/lower configuration, the add-on categorize the feature based on the score value. The categories are shown by colors which mean the following:

  • RED: Best left alone,
  • YELLOW: Low priority,
  • BLUE: Medium priority,
  • GREEN: High priority.


Score parameters

Here you can determine what and how many fields are required to calculate the Score value. The value will be the sum of the selected parameter values. (warning) The add-on require the user to add at least one parameter.


Add parameter

To add a parameter to your score:

  1. Locate Score parameters section.
  2. Click on the Add button
  3. On the appearing dialog configure the parameter and it's options for your score field:
    1. Name (mandatory): The name of the parameter. This will appear on the edit screens of your score field. 
    2. Description (optional): The description of the parameter. This will appear on the edit screens of your score field as the tooltip of the name.
    3. Parameter multiplier (mandatory): Add a multiplier to assign greater or less weight to a parameter. The parameter must be a number, and it's accept integers or numbers with one decimal. (eg. 1, 1.1, 5.4) The suggested default value is 1 or 1.0.
    4. Options (at least one is mandatory): You can add any number of Name-Value pairs as the value of the parameter with the Add button. The option Names will appear on the edit screens of your score field in a drop-down list where you can choose the one you prefer. The parameter value will be the selected option's Value multiplied by the Parameter multiplier. The option value must be a number, and it's accept integers or numbers with one decimal.
  4. Click on the Save button to confirm your configuration.



After the successful addition of a parameter a section will appear on the page with the name of the parameter as a toggle-switch. You can click on it's name to open the section and see the parameter's data, it's options and the Edit and Delete action buttons.



Edit parameter

To edit a parameter:

  1. Locate Score parameters section.
  2. Locate the parametes you want to edit.
  3. Click on it's name to open the section.
  4. Click on the Edit button.
  5. Make any necessary changes.
  6. Click on the Save button to confirm changes.

Delete parameter

To delete a parameter:

  1. Locate Score parameters section.
  2. Locate the parametes you want to delete.
  3. Click on it's name to open the section.
  4. Click on the Delete button.
  5. Click on the Yes to confirm the delete action.


Score multiplier

HERE YOU CAN DETERMINE THE FIELD TO MULTIPLY THE SCORE VALUE. (THE SUM OF THE PARAMETERS WILL BE MULTIPLIED.)Here you can determine one Score multiplier. This means, that the sum of the Parameter values will be multiplied by this value.






Save configuration

To save your Feature Score field configuration after you added the necessary parameters and score multiplier:

  1. Review your configuration.
  2. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
    1. You can click Cancel to undo your changes.
