License Optimizer also supports LDAP Directories.
The LDAP directory permission settings will affect License Optimizer
LDAP permission settings
Read Only
In case the LDAP permission is set to read only, License Optimizer will not have permission to manipulate the user groups. That means the application won’t be able to work!
Read Only with local groups
If the access group is local group then the License Optimizer will work. If the access group is an LDAP group (and it is read only) the application won’t be able to funcion.
The login group can be either local or LDAP group, it won’t affect the application.
Read/Write
In that case, Jira has permission to manipulate the LDAP groups. Both login and access group can be an LDAP group. With that permission settings, License Optimizer will work properly.
