Prerequisites

You must have the JIRA System Administrators global permission to install Timetracker for JIRA.

The plugin is available for JIRA On-Premise (Server) and Jira Cloud.

The plugin can be downloaded from Atlassian Marketplace or can be installed through the UPM (Universal Plugin Manager).


Installing apps directly from the administration console

If you are connected to the Atlassian Marketplace website from your Atlassian application's administration console:

  1. Log in as a user with the JIRA Administrators global permission.

  2. Navigate to the Find new apps screen (Jira settings →Apps → Find new apps).

  3. Locate Timetracker - Time Tracking & Reporting for JIRA via search.

  4. Click Free trial to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license.
  5. The software will now be installed and you can activate the License.


Installing by file upload

You can install an app by uploading it to your Atlassian application:

  1. Log in as a user with the JIRA Administrators global permission.

  2. Navigate to the Manage apps screen (Jira settings →Apps → Manage apps).

  3. Select the Upload app option.

  4. Search for the downloaded file on your local machine.

  5. Select the file to upload.

  6. The software will now be installed and you can add the License on your administration console.
