Integrations
Timetracker - Time Tracking & Reporting for Jira
The integration between Timetracker and Fillchecker allows for improved functionality and efficiency when both apps are installed. This feature is designed to optimize data access and reduce configuration duplication.
Why integrate with Timetracker:
Faster Report Generation: FillChecker can use the Timetracker app's public REST API to retrieve worklog data. This method is significantly faster than accessing data through Jira’s native REST endpoints, especially when working with a large number of users. This results in quicker report generation and improved overall performance.
Shared Configuration for Holidays and Non-Working Projects: With this integration, FillChecker can utilize holiday schedules and non-working project settings that are already configured in Timetracker. This eliminates the need for duplicate configuration efforts, ensuring consistent settings across both apps.
How to integrate with Timetracker app:
Create and get the Timetracker API Token following this guide: https://docs.everit.biz/timetracker/rest-api
Paste the generated token to the configuration page. It will be validated by the Fillchecker app.
If the token is valid, you can turn the integration on with the toggle button.
The user who generates the token should have “Permission to use Reporting” and “Permission to browse worklogs of other users” app permission to get worklogs from Timetracker

Time models
With time models, you can split your team into groups based on the expected daily working hours e.g. part-time and full-time employees.

A Jira user can belong to a Time model. If you add it to another group, it will be removed from the previous one.

Holidays
You can manage special dates here, like public national holidays, or weekends, which are working days. These dates will affect the calculation of expected working hours, overtime and coloring on the Reporting.

Existing dates can be filtered by years. Provide a year number in the "Filter by year" field to filter the special days down to that year.

Email notifications
You can notify your team members if they didn’t complete the timesheet for the previous day. Email notifications are sent once a day. To send daily notifications, you need to turn on the notifications on the Time model.
