Here is an example of how you can configure and test the app with the new “Access limit” option.

  • You have a license with 1000 user (or an evaluation license with unlimited users) applied to your Jira.

  • You should give access to 1200 user to this instance. You configured these 1200 users as the login group, so these user should be able to log in the Jira.

  • access group start on 0 member

  • first 5 user logs in, now you have 10 users with access (5+5) and you are on the maximum seat on your 10 user license

  • these 5 users became inactive → nothing happens, they won’t be removed because there is no race for seats

  • 1 new user logs in

  • LO see taht there are inactive users

  • removes one user

  • provide access to the new user
