Group settings
For the proper functionality, License Optimizer requires you to set up login and access groups.
Login Group
The login group contains all the users who should be able to access the application. The size of this group can be bigger than your purchased license tier.

If a user is not added to the Login Group, he/she will never be able to access Confluence. |
Access Group
Users who will have application access. The selected group here will be manipulated in real-time by License Optimizer to receive application access.
The access group configured in License Optimizer should be added to the “Licensed users” Global Permission in Confluence administrator settings first with “can use” enabled. You must select one of the groups which have been added to the Global Permissions menu.
(In the access group picker, only groups that have been added to the global permissions menu will be listed.)
